This book is for anyone who wants a more active lifestyle. It is for past, present and future motorcycle riders. It is about The Perfect Motorcycle, affordable gas mileage, a fulfilling retirement and the wonders of America's National and State Parks; all of this available with a simple flick of the wrist. Example: In North Carolina, historic towns, cultural events and exhibits are in close proximity to the Parkway. Around every turn are endless vistas waiting to take your breath away. With 35/45mph speed limits, one truly has time to pause, look, take a photo.
"As one rides closer to the White Sands Monument, the effect is of riding into a massive fog bank.
It is an eerie feeling as the sand gradually appears to stretch beyond the horizon..... Looking over the map, we thought that we should add another state to the trip, since we were so close to Tennessee. We took what appeared to be a brand new highway (I-26) over to Johnson City. There are no words that can adequately describe having a full-on mountain pass Interstate highway all to oneself. Reaching Johnson City, we picked up Rt. 321 and stopped for the night again in Boone, North Carolina. If the first day was good (and I considered it at the time to be the best day of riding I had ever done), it was surpassed by the second..... Since moving to the Richmond area in 2002, Jerry and I have attended the monthly meetings of the Richmond Riders Motorcycle Club.

The club's monthly rides have enabled us to enjoy the many beautiful back roads of Virginia. Everywhere we meet the most warm-hearted, generous people. Jerry became president of the Richmond Riders Motorcycle Club in 2004. We have really enjoyed being part of the annual June, Ride for Kids® fundraising event in Richmond, Virginia.....It is her, (Gail DeWitt), hope that working together, her clients will be "Up and Riding Again." The company is growing rapidly. More and more retailers are adding disability/adaptation products to their lineup. Racers are also finding that the Kliktronic Electric Shifter, along with an Ignition Interrupt switch, can be dialed down to 0.35ms. per shift and take ½ second off a flat quarter mile track."
